Schools of Planning and Architecture (SPAs) are centrally financed technical institutions spread across India. They are a group of autonomous public higher education institutes overseen by the Ministry of Education. They were founded with the goal of delivering excellent architecture and physical planning education. SPAs generally provide undergraduate, postgraduate, doctorate, and executive education programmes. Admission to SPA for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees is through the JEE and GATE/CEED exams.
